Cheyenne is a new College Station resident, having joined West, Webb, Allbritton & Gentry, P.C., in January 2020, in their general civil litigation group. Before that, she practiced law in Dallas for nearly five years as an associate at Bracewell LLP, where she represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of industries and areas, including intellectual property, construction, bankruptcy litigation, real estate, securities litigation, and oil and gas. Prior to joining Bracewell, she taught middle school language arts through the Teach for America program. She attended Southern Methodist University for her undergraduate and graduate studies and works hard to represent the Mustangs at this Aggie-proud firm.
Cheyenne provides counsel on all aspects of the litigation process and practices in both federal and state courts in Texas. She has also had the honor of working on several appeals before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and has completed briefing on unique questions of law under the Constitution. She has experience in resolving matters through trial as well as alternative disputes procedures, including arbitration and mediation.
Outside of work, Cheyenne enjoys traveling and spending time in the outdoors. She is married to Tom, and they have a beautiful baby boy and a lazy black lab named Chief. The Pates are new to College Station and are enjoying exploring the city and trying all the restaurants when the students are on break. They are members of Grace Bible Church in College Station.
