Having practiced civil trial law for almost 40 years, I have tried many cases to verdict. In representing businesses, individuals, insurance companies, and government entities, I have successfully litigated personal injury, wrongful death, commercial, banking, complex business, employment, trust and fiduciary, oil and gas, construction, securities, intellectual property, contract, and real estate cases. I have litigated throughout Texas, in state and federal courts, and, with special permission, courts in other states.
Why did you want to become an attorney?
I was attracted to the opportunity to be an advocate for others.

What do you do for fun?
Having recently become a grandfather, I anticipate that might become my new favorite pastime. Also, I will soon begin my 10th year as a Substitute Teaching Leader for the Waco Men’s Bible Study Fellowship Class.
What is your favorite quotation?
“Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Heb. 13:5) This is a promise of peace and purpose.
What is one thing about you that most people don’t know?
My first career was as a heavy equipment operator.
